Jeff Doan

A construction legacy runs deep in the Doan family. The call to this profession was an easy one as Jeff’s grandfather was a General Contractor and his dad worked his way up to a Superintendent spending his last 28 years serving in that capacity as a valued DeLotto employee.

Jeff started his construction career in the early 80’s working as a Project Engineer and Project Clerk for two local general contractors and earned his stripes as part of a field crew installing underground utilities, paving and earthwork for a local site developer.

In 1987 Jeff joined the DeLotto team, and his career path was set. While working in the field making deliveries and completing skilled labor work, Jeff entered the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) apprenticeship training to learn the carpentry trade. Through participation in the ABC State and National competitions, Jeff hit his stride. Advancement and added responsibility became a natural occurrence as Jeff’s hard work ethic undergirded his ever-expanding skillsets.

As both an ABC and DeLotto success story, Jeff has held positions and received coveted recognitions including serving on the Board of Directors Gulf Coast Chapter, State of Florida Board of Directors, Member of the Year (2013), Apprenticeship Committee Chair and Safety Committee member for ABC and Carpentry Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Vice President of Operations and most recently becoming a shareholder with DeLotto.

Projects, where Jeff’s professionalism and experience have left his mark, include several builds on the Berkeley Prep and Shorecrest Prep campuses, Grow and GTE Federal Credit Unions, and Commercial and AHCA related interiors.

Jeff has learned how to break down the complex into achievable tasks to get the job done right the first time, he is an effective leader, and a force to be reckoned with when challenges arise. Jeff’s example has profoundly impacted all who come in contact with him, especially his son who is carrying on the Doan family legacy as a third generation DeLotto employee.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys boating, fast cars, and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
