Craig Lamberson
President
Craig began his professional construction career in 1975 after graduating from the University of Florida, School of Building Construction. Since that time, he has served as a superintendent, estimator, project manager, project executive and owner’s representative on a variety of projects including schools, churches, office buildings, industrial and service center facilities and condominiums.
After working for a local general contractor for eight years, Craig served as owner’s representative for the development of Harbour Island. His responsibilities included management of infrastructure improvements, development assistance of the office/retail/hotel complex, construction of the athletic club and sales office and construction oversight of the first two condominium phases. Later, as construction manager with Trammell Crow, he developed office, industrial and service center projects in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Polk Counties.
Craig’s areas of expertise include planning, conceptual estimating, project scheduling, value engineering, conflict resolution and project management. His interpersonal skills, attention to detail and overall knowledge of the construction and development industry enhance his ability to provide owners with cost effective, time sensitive, quality projects. Craig has successfully completed projects under General Contracting, Construction Management and Design-Build methods of project delivery. Since joining DeLotto in 1991, Craig has developed longstanding relationships with a highly diverse client base, including local CEO’s, public and private schools, financial organizations, churches, developers and tax-exempt organizations. His expanded duties as President now include management of the firm’s day-to-day business operations.
Craig is active in his church where he plays French horn in the church orchestra, has served on various church committees, and taught a Single Adult Bible Fellowship Class for twelve years. Craig is also an active member of the Florida Worship Choir and Orchestra and has traveled to New York City, Cuba, and Greece on Music Mission trips. In 1998, Craig was selected to serve as Arrangements Chair for the Tampa Bay Billy Graham Crusade held in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium. Craig currently serves on the Board of Assure Women’s Center in Tampa and is a member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
Off-hour time is dedicated to family and encompasses antiquing and ministering with his wife, opening up their home for extended dinner and conversation fellowships and doing whatever his two grandchildren decide they want to do.
