DeLotto was selected as Construction Manager to build this Alfonso Architects designed addition to the downtown Tampa urban core.
Sam Rampello Downtown Partnership School is a joint venture project between the School District of Hillsborough County and the Tampa Downtown Partnership. This unique, urban 109,000 square foot campus serves more than 700 kindergarten through 8th grade students whose parents work in downtown in downtown Tampa.
The campus, which encompasses two city blocks, consists of a two-story elementary school building with administrative offices and a media center which serves both the elementary school and the middle school students; a single story cafeteria building; and a middle school classroom building which is elevated to provide a covered play area and covered spaces for student drop-off/pickup. The design also includes a rooftop art classroom and a dance studio.
